About The Event
The Shannon Irish Dance Academy is proud to present An Irish Nutcracker. An Irish twist on the classic ballet full of Irish dance, music, and folklore.
The Fairy Queen, Maeve, has been caring for the land of Tir Na Nog in the King's absence. She is delighted to hear of his return and organizes a grand feast in honor of the King and his rescuer, Claire. Flowers, Gypsies, Selkies, Púcas, and the Children of Lir dance for Claire's enjoyment.
