OVERVIEW

The Theater features 1,135 comfortable plush seats that provide excellent sight lines and acoustics from every seat. Backstage is a fully equipped theater with complete lighting and sound components as well as dressing rooms for both featured performers and chorus. A Hearing Loop system for the hearing impaired is also available. There is a concession area in the center of the theater lobby for refreshments and light snacks.

ACCESS

  • Two main entrances on the north and south sides of the building.

  • No east access to the building. 

  • Locker room and loading entrances on the west.

  • Staircases to the balcony levels are located just inside the north and south lobby entrances.

  • Four sets of doors open to the main floor from the lobby.

  • The lobby has entrance doors on the north and south side.

  • Both entrances have box office windows.

STAGE INFO
McMorran's Stage

  • Proscenium with apron dimensions:

    • 35′ long, 50′ wide and 22′ high.

  • The apron is 14′ X 45′ or 3′ X 45′ with orchestra pit open.

  • Orchestra pit holds approximately 21 musicians and has a lift-off top in 24" sections.

  • Carpeting over orchestra pit is removable.

  • Ample storage space in wings stage left and right.

  • The stage floor is wood maple.

  • The stage is accessible from the house by 2 doors and steps that run along the stage front.

LOADING DOCK

  • Stage door is located on north side of McMorran Place-stage right on Murphy Avenue.

  • The door is 7’10” wide by 7’10” high and opens to 10 feet high if necessary.

  • The door is 4 feet below ground level and uses a hydraulic lift from stage to truck (Approximately 8′ wide X 6′ high).

  • A 16 feet loading ramp is also available to ramp street level to stage level.

  • Stair access to stage left and stage right.

  • Two principal rooms with make up mirrors and sinks.

  • Two chorus rooms with make-up mirrors, sinks, toilets, and showers.
