McMorran Arena to Offer Open Skating and Drop-in Hockey

PORT HURON, MI – McMorran Arena is happy to announce that the return of open skating and drop-in hockey at the sports and entertainment complex, just in time for the holidays. The arena will hold drop-in hockey each Monday from 9 p.m. – 10:30 p.m., beginning on December 14 in the main arena. The cost is $10 per person. The first open skating session will be held on Friday, December 18. There will be three weekend skates in the pavilion, as well as regular skates in the main arena on Wednesdays, beginning on December 23 and running until the end of January. The cost is $5 per person. You must bring your own skates and pay in advance in McMorran Arena’s Pro Shop. On December 18 only, bring a canned good for donation to Mid City Nutrition Food Pantry and receive $2 off. The complete open skating schedule is as follows: Friday, December 18, 7 p.m. – 9 p.m.Saturday, December 26, 12 p.m. – 2 p.m.Saturday, January 2, 12 p.m. – 2 p.m.Each Wednesday, December 23 – January 27, 12 p.m. – 2p.m. “We are pleased to offer open skating and drop-in hockey.
