McMorran Place Seeks Volunteers for Special Events
December 13 2009
PORT HURON, MI – McMorran Place is currently seeking volunteers to help set up and tear down for special events at the sports and entertainment complex. For each event worked, volunteers will receive two Port Huron Icehawks ticket vouchers and two free passes to open skating at McMorran. “We are building upon the success of our volunteer program at McMorran Place, with over 140 volunteers and growing strong,” Port Huron Icehawks Vice President/Business Manager Dave Goetze said. “We are entering into new areas needing your talent and service.” He added, “We thank those of you who are sharing your talents with us, and we invite others to utilize their talents and help us grow our volunteer labor force to make a difference in St. Clair County and beyond.” Two lucky volunteers will be honored for going above and beyond the call of duty with tickets to a Detroit Red Wings game in a VIP suite on February 11, 2010. McMorran Place will also hold a volunteer luncheon in the month of January as a way to say thank you to all active volunteers. If you would like to serve your community, contact Volunteer Team Leader Lynn English at 714-393-2750.
