See those kids from East
High stop at nothing to distract basketball jock Troy and
math-whiz Gabrielle from getting the lead roles in the school
musical.
High School Musical on screen started life on the Disney Channel
back in January 2006, picking up a couple of Emmys.
The stage version is based on the first film, with its script by
Peter Barsocchini adapted by David Simpatico. It includes all
the songs from the film - of which Breaking Free and We're All
in this Together were hit singles as well as two new songs.
Announcement
Due to the
need to get auditions for Rocky Horror Show scheduled the
Deadline for Director Bids has been moved up from July 1, 2009
to June 1, 2009. All bids/proposals should be submitted to
Carolyn Holley at cholley@ameritech ASAP. The deadline for the
remaining shows will remain the same July 1, 2009. |
